B.A. Resident Named TU Outstanding Senior

Jacqueline Boggs

The University of Tulsa recently recognized Jacqueline Boggs, of Broken Arrow, as one of the school’s 2017-18 Jess Chouteau Outstanding Seniors. The honor is awarded to 10 seniors each year for their exceptional achievement in academics and community engagement.

Boggs is a psychology and organizational studies major in the Kendall College of Arts and Sciences. She is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, Order of Omega, Lantern Honor Society, Psi Chi Honor Society, Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, Mortar Board, Panhellenic Executive Council and the TACL psychology research lab. She is listed on the President’s Honor and Dean’s Honor Roll and has received the TU Vision Scholarship, TU Dean’s Scholarship and Tulsa Committee of 100 Scholarship. Boggs has also been a recipient of awards such as the Tulsa Area Alumnae Panhellenic Scholarship, Corre Anding Stegall Collegiate Leadership Award, and the Psychology department “Fabulous Five” Award. She has volunteered at the Broken Arrow Police Department, Parent Child Center of Tulsa and Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. Boggs plans to pursue a doctorate in industrial/organizational psychology and focus on team dynamics and training.

The other Outstanding Seniors named were Claire Collard of Owasso; Madisen Fae Dorand of St. Louis, Missouri; Shelby Hackney of Ponca City; Emma Hug of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Tejaswi Makkapati of St. Louis, Missouri; Luke Monsees of Kansas City, Missouri; Camden Schinnerer of Sand Springs; Brett Stewart of Owasso; and Matthew Wells of Wichita, Kansas.
