TTCU Federal Credit Union presented a $12,000 donation to Broken Arrow Public School District as part of its School Pride program. Over the past 11 years, the School Pride program has distributed over $1 million to area schools.

“We offer a heartfelt ‘thanks’ to TTCU and our community members who use the Broken Arrow check card,” Superintendent Janet Dunlop said. “It’s because of your generosity that we are able to positively impact our students and teachers in the classroom.”

The School Pride program began in 2007 as a way for TTCU to give back to area schools. TTCU members select among 56 School Pride designs honoring area schools, and every time they use their debit card, TTCU makes a financial donation to the school. Over $124,000 has been donated to Broken Arrow schools thus far.

“TTCU Federal Credit Union was founded during the Great Depression as a way for teachers to help other teachers,” TTCU CEO and President Tim Lyons said. “Now, when Oklahoma schools’ budgets are so tight, it is more important than ever to support education. The School Pride cards allow us to offer a helping hand to the schools that are important to our members.”

A TTCU checking account with a School Pride Visa debit card can be opened online or at any branch. Visit for more information.
