The 17th Annual Jenks Herb and Plant Festival will be held in downtown Jenks on Saturday, April 27 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The free, one-day event brings thousands of shoppers into Jenks each year. The festival was awarded the 2010 Governor’s Conference on Tourism Redbud Award for “Outstanding Event.”
Over 100 booths lined Main Street Jenks in 2012, offering a large variety of herbs and plants. The event will also feature live entertainment.
New vendors can submit photographs and a description of their booth to the Jenks Garden Club, P.O. Box 215, Jenks, OK 74037. Priority is given to returning vendors and early applicants.
Food vendors will also be set up in addition to tables and chairs to enjoy the fare.
Early attendees are encouraged to visit the Kiwanis Club’s pancake breakfast taking place at the First Methodist Church, located at 5th and Main, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tickets for the pancake breakfast are $5 each.
