Tulsa Welcomes Greenheck Group

FUTURE CAMPUS: The Greenheck Group’s northeast Tulsa campus will open next year with facilities for the manufacturing operations and distribution of its Accurex brand of commercial kitchen ventilation systems and its Tempered Air Products (TAP) line.

Greenheck Group, a Wisconsin-based manufacturer of air movement, control and conditioning equipment, has announced that it will build a campus in Tulsa.

The company plans to break ground later this year and open its campus in summer 2018. It will be located at the Tulsa Raceway Park, 3101 N. Garnett Rd.

This facility will include manufacturing operations and distribution for Greenheck Group’s Accurex brand of commercial kitchen ventilation systems.

The company’s second facility is expected to open in fall 2018 and will include manufacturing operations and distribution of the Greenheck Tempered Air Products (TAP) line.

Initial plans call for the hiring of approximately 75 employees during the first year of operations, with Greenheck Group significantly growing its Tulsa-area presence in the coming years.

The company envisions that additional facilities to support other Greenheck Group brands and product lines will establish a Tulsa presence as growth needs dictate.

“Tulsa is the ideal location for our new Greenheck Group campus,” says Jim McIntyre, CEO of Greenheck Group. “The central location, the robust and growing business sector, and access to a smart, talented workforce were all key factors in our decision.”

The Tulsa Regional Chamber played a significant role in encouraging the Greenheck Group to locate in the area.

The chamber initially engaged with the Greenheck Group in February, assisting the company to coordinate a site visit to northeast Oklahoma. Chamber staff worked with the company for several months in order to finalize project details, including real estate and site selection, workforce needs, engineering, and infrastructure.

Additionally, the chamber facilitated introductions between Greenheck Group leadership and existing northeast Oklahoma companies that could offer a firsthand perspective on the region’s business climate.

Greenheck Group’s flagship ventilation products are used in hospitals, office buildings, hotels, shopping malls, restaurants, schools, industrial plants and other commercial buildings. Its product portfolio includes architectural louvers and sunshades, specialized air-handling systems, heating and cooling coils, kitchen ventilation systems, and many related accessories and services. The company has manufacturing and assembly facilities in Wisconsin, California, Kentucky, Tennessee, Minnesota, North Carolina, Mexico, and India.
