Arvest Bank recently awarded three Greater Tulsa area teachers as winners of Arvest’s We Love OK Teachers campaign, including Dawna Jones, with Tulsa Public Schools’ McClure Elementary.

Jones plans to reward her students with a field trip to the zoo with her prize money.
The additional winners are Judy Mullins, with Lynn Wood Elementary in Broken Arrow, and Jenks Northwest Elementary’s Sarah Beyer.

The Arvest initiative to honor educators from a pool of more than 90 communities throughout the state by awarding more than $15,000 in prize money was launched in October. The campaign awarded a total of 33 teachers statewide.

“Teachers work tirelessly to shape and educate the children of Oklahoma, and we are grateful for their efforts,” says Arvest Marketing Manager Rita Garrison. “We hope these prizes can make their jobs a little easier.”
