University of Oklahoma Physicians Popular in Bixby

The University of Oklahoma Physicians South Memorial at 106th Street opened in April, and the location has become popular with patients from the area. The photo to the right is from the ribbon cutting in April.
OU Physicians South Memorial offers extraordinary care and unmatched expertise to the South Tulsa area. This new practice is accepting new patients and offers same-day appointments, extended and weekend hours, and on-site laboratory and X-Ray. Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield of Oklahoma and most other insurances accepted. To make an appointment, call 918-634-7600. Learn more at
At the ribbon cutting, OU Physicians joined the Tulsa Regional Chamber, the Jenks Chamber, and the Bixby Chamber for the official ribbon-cutting for the new clinic.  The event included a brief ceremony, refreshments and reception to meet the doctors and staff, and tours of the new clinic.

All residents and families who live in the area were invited on April 14 for family events including stuffed animal check-ups by the medical students, free food, games, and family fun, giveaways and door prizes, and a chance to meet Clinic Head Physician Dr. James H. Beebe, M.D.

Beebe is an assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine. He obtained his medical degree from the Spartan Health Sciences University in St. Lucia and completed a Family Medicine residency at the University of Oklahoma Tulsa College of Medicine. Beebe is board certified in Family Medicine and is certified as a Wound Care Specialist Physician.
