Jenks Grad Receives Scholarship

Jenks graduate and Northern Oklahoma College (NOC) freshman Hannah Nealis was recently named the Leo Canaday Memorial Scholarship recipient for the 2017-2018 school year.

Nealis is majoring in elementary education.

The Leo Canaday Memorial Scholarship provides students an opportunity to pursue their educational goals at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa and is presented to a member of the NOC women’s basketball team. The scholarship was established by Leo Canady’s wife, with the support of family and friends.

Northern Oklahoma College, the state’s oldest community college, is a multi-campus, land-grant institution, serving nearly 5,000 students.

The public, two-year community college has locations in Tonkawa, Enid and Stillwater, Oklahoma.
