Tulsa Public Schools is now accepting applications for 2014-15 lottery, academic and interest transfers.
Transfer applications can be picked up in the accountability office at the Education Service Center, 3027 S. New Haven Ave., or downloaded at www.tulsaschools.org, under “Enroll or Transfer Your Child” under the “Parents” tab.
Lottery, academic and interest applications must be returned to the Education Service Center by a parent or guardian no later than 4 p.m., Jan. 24, 2014. An ID from a parent or guardian is required in order to submit the application. Mailed applications and applications returned to school sites will not be accepted.
Transfer applications must include current proof of address, birth certificate for students new to TPS, immunization records for students new to TPS, guardianship papers (if applicable), sealed teacher recommendation (academic schools only), cumulative record/transcript (for students not currently enrolled or new to TPS), first semester report card (for students new to TPS) and explanation of excessive absences (if applicable).
Lottery drawings will occur late in February 2014.
Out-of-district transfers will open Jan. 1, 2014 and close at 4 p.m. on March 31. In-district transfers for non-lottery, academic or interest schools for 2014-15 will open March 3, 2014 and close April 18.
