66ers Rack up 120 in Win at Sioux Falls


SIOUX FALLS, S.D., Dec. 10, 2010 — Byron Mullens recorded 19 points and four rebounds and point guard Zabian Dowdell posted 19 points, eight assists and four steals to lead the Tulsa 66ers (4-4) past the Sioux Falls Skyforce on the road Friday evening by a 120-102 final score inside Sioux Falls Arena.

Tulsa’s 120 points marked its highest scoring output of the season.

Also scoring in double figures for the 66ers were Jerome Dyson and Elijah Millsap with 18 points each, followed by Larry Owens and Latavious Williams each with 13. Owens also pitched in a team-high eight rebounds.

The 66ers forced Sioux Falls (2-7) to 30 turnovers, recorded 11 steals and outrebounded the Skyforce by a 41-34 margin. Offensively, Tulsa recorded 29 assists on 45 made field goals (45-83).

Sioux Falls was led by Leemire Goldwire and Dexter Pittman with 16 points each. Anthony Mason Jr. recorded a game-high nine rebounds for the Skyforce.

The two teams will square off again Saturday evening, Dec. 11, for game two of the back-to-back at 7 p.m. inside Sioux Falls Arena. Fans can view the game online for free via webcast at nba.com/futurecast.
