The Tulsa 66ers is a quality organization making a real impact in the community. Besides having very good players and providing entertainment, the team contributes in a real way to Tulsa’s economy and youth education efforts. The Bixby Chamber of Commerce recently named the 66ers the Mid-Size Business of the Year at the annual Bixby Chamber Gala.
66ers President Jim Brylewski accepted the honor on behalf of the team. He adds, “We are extremely honored to be selected by the business community. We strive each day to be champions of our community both on and off the court.”
The 66ers players also recently spent a day participating in reading timeouts with children from Town & Country School and Miss Helen’s Private School. Players shared and showcased the importance of reading and literacy to local children from three years old to fifth grade.
