Actress Georgia Cole Joins Cast Of The Lamp Scheduled To Film In Tulsa Oct. 11


Trost Moving Pictures announced recently that Georgia Cole (The Gates) has joined the cast of their new feature film, The Lamp. Cole takes on the role as Alex and will be featured opposite Cameron ten Napel. Also joining the cast is Katie Burgess and Darrell Alan in supporting roles. Cameron ten Napel was also cast in Trost Moving Pictures’ soon to be release A Christmas Snow opposite Catherine Mary Stewart, Muse Watson and Anthony Tyler Quinn.

The Lamp is the new feature film from Trost Moving Pictures scheduled to start shooting Oct.11 in Tulsa. The Lamp based on the book written by Jim Stovall (best selling author, The Ultimate Gift) who will be co executive producer along with Tracy J Trost, who wrote the screenplay. Award winning director, Tracy J Trost will direct The Lamp.

“I am pleased to be working with Cameron ten Napel again,” said Trost who worked with the up and coming star in his last film A Christmas Snow. “But I’m just as excited to be working with Georgia, Darrell Alan, and Katie as well, they are all incredibly talented and the support of their families is amazing.”

Ten year old Cameron Ten Napel has already built an enviable resume including over 20 commercials; both local and national, and appeared in the popular children’s program “Barney and Friends.” Cameron has also filmed A House Divided, a pilot for , alongside actor Dillon McDermott and played ‘Amy’ in the feature film Cool Dog. This will be her second feature film with director Tracy J Trost. Her first A Christmas Snow will be in stores on October 8, 2010.

At the young age of 5, Georgia Cole, began performing in theatre with talented teacher Stephanie Riggs. She then began working with acting coach, Cathryn Sullivan, at age 7, and was signed with the Kim Dawson Agency in Dallas. She booked commercials with Dick’s Sporting Goods, Dallas Waters, and appeared on Barney and Friends as well. Now, at the age of 10, she has a recurring role as Emily Radcliff, in the new series The Gates.

At age 7, Tulsa native Katie Burgess was cast as Cindy Lou Who in Seussical the musical. After three years on the theater stage she signed with Magna Talent and was soon become a frequent face on television. Katie recently finished filming the independent film Teaching Faith, as Faith and signed with Innovative Artist in Los Angeles.

Since the age of 2, Darrell Alan has been an ambassador, participating in many events, thanking people for their support with Muscular Dystrophy. He appeared in a commercial with Daryl Johnston “Moose” from the Dallas Cowboys and Matt Swinton, who also has Spinal Muscular Atrophy. He has gratefully been a part of the Jerry Lewis Telethon each year.

The Film-

Suffering from the loss of his only child, Stanley has secluded himself to a dark and lonely place. Sullen and without hope, he continues to hide from and neglect those he loves despite their attempts to reach out to him.

In what seems to be the final days of their already strained marriage, his wife Lisa is presented with a strange gift; an old oil lamp from a far off land. Along with the lamp comes a mysterious messenger and a question that causes them to search the depths of their hearts for what’s truly important in life.

Trost Moving Pictures is an independent film studio based in Tulsa, OK that is making waves in the entertainment arena. Their first film Find Me, is available now and is based on the sport of geo caching.
