AMA Presents Social Media Marketing

The Tulsa chapter of the American Marketing Association will present an overview of social media marketing Jan. 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Summit Club located on the 30th floor Governor’s Suite.

Kathleen Beisly, Marketing Manager at specializing in Social Media, Web Marketing and Search Engine Optimization, will present an overview of social media marketing today and share ideas on using social media for marketing purposes or simply for building your business network. Beisly will offer some straightforward steps to help you learn how to become more comfortable with participating in today’s most popular social media sites as well as how to use tools to better monitor the pulse of your marketplace.

At , Beisly is responsible for leading the strategic shift to integrate social media tactics into the marketing mix across IBM’s North American marketing organization and works with teams that market hardware, software and services to companies of all sizes. Beisly has over 20 years experience in B2B marketing and sales in the information technology industry and holds a BS in Computer Science from Oklahoma State University.
