Annual Salvation Army Benefit Dinner April 18

ANTICIPATING DINNER: The Salvation Army’s Captain Sheila New and Major Dan New flank Henry Zarrow, who will be honorary chairman of this year’s Salvation Army benefit dinner.
The 14th Annual Salvation Army Benefit Dinner will be held April 18 at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel. The speaker will be Dave Barry, Pulitzer Prize winning humorist and columnist whose work has appeared in more than 500 newspapers in the United States and abroad for 25 years.
Cherry and Jim Bost are the chairs and Henry Zarrow is the honorary chair. Gayle and Frank Eby and Anne and Clark Millspaugh are chairs of the William Booth Society Committee. For more information on the William Booth Society, call 587-7801, ext. 138.
Lucia and Larry Yeagley are Co-chairs of the Decorations Committee. Jan Butts and Lynn Wheatley of Lasting Impressions will design the decorations. Members of the committee are Karen Mildren, Pam and Lee Eslicker and Mary and Mike McGraw. Entertainment Co-Chairman are Gayla and Richard Dixon and Stephanie and Bruce Riddle.
Betty and Ron McDaniel are Co-Chairmen of the Invitations Committee. Serving on their committee will be Lynda and Robert Lynch, Leslie and Mike Moore, Ashley and Chris Bourne and Judy and Michael Burton.
Other committee members include: Luncheon Co-Chairmen Sally and Tom Hughes; Reception Chairmen Susie and Fulton Collins; Program Co-Chairmen Sally and Rick Gibbon; Publicity Co-Chairmen Sharon and Mike Bartlett; Reservations Chairman Donna Bost; and Reservations committee members Cheryl and John Forrest, Janie and Earl Funk, Hannah and Joe Robson, Cheryl and Larry Chambers, Charlotte and Wade Edmundson and Berry and Steve Pirnat.
Annabelle and Steve Miller will be Speaker Hospitality Co-Chairmen. Joe and Pat Seibert are Salvation Army Representatives. Denny and Andy Hartman are Treasurers. Nancy and John Hawkins are William Booth Society Co-Chairmen. Melinda and Mitch Adwon are Year-end
Co-Chairmen.
Tulsa artist Ross Myers has created an original piece of art for this years invitations.
All funds raised from the Benefit Dinner are used to support the spring and summer Salvation Army services.
