Another Great Shalomfest
This year’s Shalomfest, held Sept. 14 at Temple Israel just south of Utica Square in Tulsa, was another success. Enjoying the event are Nancy Lobo and Russ Newman, chair of the event.
The event is a celebration of Jewish food, music and art. It also features Juddica, crafts, books and other gift items, as well as a tour of the Templeand an explanation of Jewish life cycle events such as Bar Mitzvah, a Jewish wedding and more. Temple Israel has sponsored the event since 1994.
