INFAMOUS BLACK: Amanda Bynes was recently photographed wearing this dress on the red carpet. The designer, Nancy Rose, uses the best silks, satins and cottons she can purchase to make her classic, stunning garments.

A rose is never just a rose. Not convinced? Just ask Amanda Bynes, the new “it” girl for tweens and teenie boppers. This girl has it all: talent, girl next door good looks and a sweetness that is like grandma’s apple pie.

These things are just a beginning, though. With a booming career already underway and a lifetime of endearing roles ahead, Bynes is the teen queen role model many of her predecessors have failed to become. She isn’t a debutant who has done nothing but inherit her daddy’s money and mommy’s good looks; this girl actually has class, style and talent.

Why am I such a huge Amanda Bynes fan? Not only do I have a nine-year-old daughter with whom I’ve reluctantly (but upon completion happily) endured every film staring Bynes; I also love the actress’ passion for fashion. She was recently photographed on the red carpet wearing a personal favorite, Nancy Rose.

Rose, who has also designed for the line THORN, is a graduate of Penn State University and Parsons School of Design in New York City. She is now married, has a son and resides in the Big Apple where her line is produced.

Rose’s clothes are made of fabrics exclusively from Italy and France. She uses the best silks, satins and cottons so soft, you’d swear you weren’t wearing anything at all. Her collections are riveted with incredible details of ruching, beading, feather detailing, draping and waffle checkering.

The little number Bynes adorned on the red carpet was a perfect little black dress with its strapless heart shape front and waffle like material specially equipped with front pockets giving it a modern twist. Add a silver buckle belt and a pair of Oh Deer! sequined Mary Jane front strap stilettos, and you too can achieve the red carpet look that will have Joan and Melissa Rivers talking for days!

For more celebrity citings in Nancy Rose, watch Bravo’s “Make Me a Supermodel” or check out Marie Claire, Lucky, In Style and Nylon magazines in the upcoming months.
Nancy Rose’s line is also available at Isabella’s.
