AT&T Offers Job Experience
REAL-WORLD KNOWLEDGE: On Jan. 22, high school students visited AT&T for the Aspire Mentoring Academy, which is part of AT&T Aspire, a program that has, thus far, impacted more than one million students nationwide.
On Jan. 22, area high school students, AT&T employees and Junior Achievement (JA) officials visited AT&T, 15901 E. Skelly Dr., for a job-mentoring experience called Aspire Mentoring Academy. The program is a part of AT&T Aspire, the company’s five-year $350 million investment in education and has impacted more than one million students since its launch in 2008.
AT&T is collaborating with JA to provide students with an enhanced experience through project-based activities and teaching them problem-solve in a team setting.
