Moscow Ballet and Capezio are teaming up to bring “Meet the Masters” free event to Tulsa’s Black & Pink Supplies & Dance Thu Nov 1, 6-8 p.m. at West Houston St, Broken Arrow, OK. The event includes Moscow Ballet dancer Natalia Miroshnyk demonstrating the wear and care of hand-crafted Capezio Pointe shoes and whose own feet were measured in over 10 ways and their shoes personally fitted by Capezio Master Fitter Paul Plesh. In addition, the ballerina answers questions, poses for photos, signs autographs, and gives away Moscow Ballet and Capezio prizes including winning tickets to see Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker. Capezio, an icon since 1887, continues to revolutionize the dance world with dancewear and footwear innovations for every dancer from beginner to professional. Capezio is a staple in dance schools, as well as worn in TV shows, movies, Broadway shows and touring performances. A cavalcade of luminaries has worn Capezio, from Anna Pavlova and Fred Astaire to Mick Jagger and Lady Gaga. Hundreds of stores carry Capezio products, and Capezio operates retail stores carrying full line of brands in New York City and major cities nationwide.

Moscow Ballet’s 20th Anniversary Great Russian Nutcracker production overflows with the never before seen “Dove of Peace” where 2 dancers become one stunning bird with 20’ wingspan, a Christmas tree that grows 7 stories tall, 40 top Russian dancers, falling snow, towering silk puppets and more, all set to Tchaikovsky’s classic score. Great Russian Nutcracker celebrates 20 years of soaring holiday spirit.
