Avery Drive Reopens

IMPROVED PATH: It took crews approximately six weeks to complete the project, which cost $743,000.00.

County Commissioner Karen Keith, along with Tulsa County Highway District crews, officially reopened Avery Drive Aug. 3 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The more than three-mile stretch of road that connects west Tulsa and Berryhill with Sand Springs was closed for reconstruction and resurfacing in June.
Many bicyclists also enjoy the scenic route.
