Bartlett and Fire Union find Common Ground
Mayor Bartlett’s management team has reached a tentative agreement with the fire union leadership.
Mayor Bartlett said specific details of the tentative agreement can not be provided at this time. However, the fire union is expected to begin education process and take a vote next week. If approved as has been discussed, the mayor will rescind layoffs.
Today 147 lay off notifications were sent to firefighters.
