Supporters of BEEF are big believers in education and opportunity. Working with educators, community leaders, caring citizens, and through the efforts of many, over $2 million in teacher grants and scholarships have been awarded by BEEF since the inception of the foundation.

In the 2020-2021 school year, over $194,000 was awarded to teachers and graduating seniors. BEEF grants support innovative educational projects which would not otherwise be possible with the level of state funding available to our public-school students. Your contribution promotes excellence in all areas of learning including reading, science, math, art, music, and technology. (Learn more about the teacher grants awarded each year on BEEF’s Facebook page.)

BEEF is the proud recipient of the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence “2005 Medal for Excellence” and received a Local Education Foundation Outstanding Program Award for its scholarship and mentoring programs and for the Century Campaign fundraiser. As a foundation, we have helped make a difference in the educational lives and futures of young people and know that success is directly related to the support we receive from people like you.

This year’s 36 teacher grants range from a drone to assist the JROTC in perfecting its drills to a book vending machine to recognize Central Intermediate students’ accomplishments while encouraging a love of books – to drums, mellophones, and ukuleles for music classes, gym equipment, and ceramic supplies for art classes.

BEEF Teacher Grants are made possible each year by our community’s supportive people and businesses. Since its beginning in 1969, BEEF has awarded over $2,183,000 in teacher grants and scholarships!

To support Bixby schools, teachers, and students through future grants, please consider donating to BEEF’s annual Century Club campaign.
