Bixby Outreach Center Hosts the 9th Annual Blue Jeans Ball Sponsored by Blue Bull Capital LLC
The Bixby Outreach Center (BOC) hosted its 9th annual Blue Jeans Ball sponsored by Blue Bull Capital LLC in November to fight food insecurity and provide resources to those experiencing hardship in the South Tulsa County area.

FUN TIMES: Guests enjoyed a fun night at the Bixby Outreach Center’s annual Blue Jeans Ball. The evening included a BBQ dinner, music, mechanical bull, a whiskey pull, knife pull and silent and live auction items. All proceed goes to benefit the BOC and all it does for the community.
The fundraising event, located at 181 Ranch, 3913 E 181 St. South, in Bixby included dinner catered by 1907 Barbecue, entertainment by Denise Hoey, and a live and silent auction. Notable and new auction items included a Whiskey Pull, a Knife Pull, a mechanical bull, a custom firepit, vacation getaways, a package with Tulsa’s very own amazing SWAT Team, and more unique.
“The need for food and resources in our community has been more this last year than ever before,” said Missy Brumley, executive director of the BOC. “The Blue Jeans Ball is our biggest fundraiser and allows us to help meet those needs. We are thrilled to be able to host in person this year and are so thankful for our generous sponsors and volunteers who make it possible.”
Corporate sponsors this year included the Blue Bull Capital LLC, Launch Car Wash and Bixby Telephone Company.

The Bixby Outreach Center is an independent nonprofit 501 (3) with a mission to provide basic needs assistance with compassion and dignity to local families in need, through a cooperative community effort. The Center serves more than 13,906 individuals each year in Bixby, Jenks, Glenpool, Kiefer, Liberty, Mounds and Haskell. The Bixby Outreach Center is here to help families who are dealing with difficult life circumstances by assisting with food, clothing, and supportive services. The Bixby Outreach center provides a link to area-wide community resources that typically clients may not be able to access. It is the goal of the Bixby Outreach center to help those who are served become empowered and self-reliant.
