BOK Ranks Number Five
Center has raised its national and worldwide ranking by Pollstar Magazine, a leading industry publication, based on ticket sales Jan. 1, 2010 through Sept. 30, 2010. The Center now ranks #5 in the US and #15 in the world of the top arena venues.
The Center has hosted many top events in 2010 including: George Strait, Eric Clapton, Black Eyed Peas, Bon Jovi, Nickelback, Brooks & Dunn, Michael Buble, Justin Bieber, Raw, John Mayer and the sold-out second anniversary concert featuring Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers.
General Manager of the -managed facility, John Bolton, was thrilled with the news. “It’s amazing that the Center has moved into its third year of business with such continued success. The Tulsa community and outlying region have supported all types of entertainment at the Center, which is the reason we have achieved this national recognition.”
The top five national arenas with ticket sales is Madison Square Garden Arena, Spirit Center in Kansas City, Philips Arena in Atlanta, Staples Center in Los Angeles and then of course, Center.
The Center, an 19,199 – seat entertainment venue, is managed by , the world leader in venue management, marketing and development. Headquartered in Philadelphia, provides management services to over 200 public assembly facilities including arenas, stadiums, performing arts centers, theatres and convention, conference and trade centers.
