Boutique Fitness Studio Opens in Owasso

A boutique fitness studio, known as barre & co., held a ribbon cutting with the Owasso Chamber of Commerce on June 13 at the firm’s location at 11330 N. Garnett Rd., Ste C.
According to company management, the boutique fitness studio offers a variety of group fitness classes for all ages and stages, including barre, poundfit, fly fit, circuit training, and more. The firm strives to create a welcoming environment for all fitness levels, and also offers new fitness classes for youngsters to promote healthy habits at a young age and fight childhood obesity. In addition to weekly exercise classes, barre & co. provides party packages and host events at its full-service facility.

The owners of barre & co. are Jenn Tatum and Trish Jimenez, also both serving as instructors. Originally from Tacoma, Washington, Tatum now resides in Owasso. She is a 53-year-old mother of three and grandmother of two. She is also a proud Cherokee Indian and her lineage survived the Trail of Tears. Her fitness instructor journey began in 2018 and since then she has completed the following trainings: Barre Above Certification, Licensed Pound Pro, Level Up Pound Training, Generation Pound Training and BYB Barre Instructor Certification.
Jimenez is a wife, mother, photographer and fitness instructor living in Owasso. In between her time home schooling her children and running a photography business, she teaches several fitness classes a week. She says exercise is her lifeline. She attended her first training in 2018, and since then has added the following licenses/certification: Licensed POUND Pro, Level Up Pound Training, Generation pound Training, BYB Barre Instructor Certification and True Power Barre Certification.
