Broken Arrow Resident Crowned Mrs. Oklahoma
Stephanie Anello of Broken Arrow was recently crowned Mrs. Oklahoma International 2010. Anello will compete for the title of Mrs. International on July 16-17, 2010 at the Northshore Performing Arts Center in Chicago.
Anello, a pharmaceutical sales professional, wife and mother, will promote her platform of the Juvenile Diabetes Awareness via a program she created call K.I.S.S. (Kids Impact Simple Solutions). Three years ago, Anello’s goddaughter was diagnosed with Type I diabetes at the age of 4. Fueled with determination to raise funds for diabetes research with a goal of helping to end the disease, she held a golf tournament which has become an annual event.
In addition to winning the title of Mrs. Oklahoma, Taylor also won the Evening Gown Award, Marketing award and the Red Dress Award which honors support of the alliance between the International Pageants group and the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Movement.
Anello is the wife of Tim Anello and the couple has two children, Hannah and Jaxon.
The Mrs. Oklahoma Pageant is the preliminary to the Mrs. International Pageant, which is held annually in Chicago, IL. The Mrs. International system was developed to promote today’s married women, their accomplishments, and commitment to family and community. Around the world women are finding this system to be the opportunity to work to become positive role models.
