Brown Named Summit League Track and Field Athlete of the Week

Oral Roberts senior Fredrick Brown (Houston, TX) was named Summit League Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week for his performance during the week of February 1-7.
Brown earns his first career Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week award after placing second with a school record mark in the triple jump at the Husker Invite among three nationally ranked teams, No.13 Oklahoma, No. 14 Nebraska and No. 22 Kansas State along with four other regionally ranked teams, No. 5 Colorado and No. 8 Wyoming of the Mountain region and No. 6 Iowa State and No. 12 South Dakota State of the Midwest region.
His jump of 15.55m, marks a school record, a league-best jump and the 23rd best jump in the nation.
