Kevin Gross, president, Hillcrest Healthcare System, Tulsa, was recently installed as the 2014-2015 chairman of the Oklahoma Hospital Association board of trustees. Jimmy Leopard, , Wagoner Community Hospital, was named chair-elect. Jeff Nowlin, president/COO, St. John Medical Center, was recently elected as the Tulsa region chairman.
Established in 1919, the Oklahoma Hospital Association represents more than 130 hospitals and health care entities across the state of Oklahoma.
Financial Corporation has announced that Becky Keesling has been named chief auditor of the corporation. In her new role, Keesling will be responsible for assessing the effectiveness of internal controls and procedures and managing the company’s audit department. She will report directly to the chair of the audit committee of the board of directors and will also serve as a member of the company’s executive leadership team.
Keesling joined Financial in 2004 as vice president and corporate audit manager and was instrumental in implementing Sarbanes-Oxley controls across the corporation. She also managed the corporate audit team and was the primary interface with the company’s independent auditors. Later, she was promoted to senior vice president and manager of loan portfolio reporting, where she managed a team responsible for financial reporting, as it pertained to the loan portfolio and allowance for credit losses.
Prior to joining Financial, Keesling spent 10 years in the public accounting industry primarily with Ernst & Young, where she rose to the position of audit senior manager and served on the Financial account.
Keesling has an accounting degree from Southwest Missouri State University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Shaun Lesser, -, has joined the Utica Park Clinic office of OB/GYN Corey Babb, D.O. Lesser, a midwife, will work closely with Dr. Babb in practicing a more natural approach to pregnancy and childbirth by offering alternative options in a hospital setting, including: alternative birthing positions, pregnancy education, preconception counseling and aromatherapy.
Lesser earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Oklahoma in Norman in 2008 and received her Master of Nurse Midwifery from Frontier School of Midwifery & Family Nursing in Hyden, Ky., in 2013. She completed her midwifery internship through three separate facilities: Denver Health Women’s Care Clinic in Denver, Colo.; Mountain Midwifery Center – a free-standing birth center in Englewood, Colo.; and Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa. Lesser has worked as a registered nurse since 2008 at hospitals in Tulsa and Littleton, Colo. She is a current member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives and the Sigma Theta Tau Honors Society. Lesser is currently welcoming new patients and accepts most insurance plans. A native Tulsan, Gray was most recently a senior vice president in middle market lending at F&M Bank. During his seven years at F&M, he built and managed a $160 million loan portfolio. Prior to joining F&M Bank, Gray was a vice president of commercial lending at Bank of Oklahoma.
Gray received his and degrees from the University of Oklahoma. His community involvement includes the Tulsa Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement and Habitat for Humanity.

Law firm Hall Estill announces Kristen Evans has joined the firm’s Tulsa office. Evans is a litigation attorney who primarily focuses on trial and appellate motion practice in health care, products liability, medical malpractice, employment and insurance bad faith cases.
While in law school, Evans served on the editorial board for the Oklahoma Law Review and was the recipient of the Salem Civil Rights Award and Scholarship. Evans received her J.D., with honors, from the University Of Oklahoma College Of Law in 2010, and she holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma.
Selser Schaefer Architects has promoted Shane Aaron and Donny Carreno Jr. to associates.
Aaron is a licensed architect and has been with Selser Schaefer Architects since graduation from Drury University in 2007. He has been an active member in the Leadership Tulsa North Tulsa Development Council as well as the American Institute of Architects, where he formerly served on the board of directors for the Eastern Oklahoma Chapter. Aaron’s prominent work includes Childers Middle School in Broken Arrow, W.W. A 2000 graduate of Oklahoma State University, Carreno has been with Selser Schaefer Architects for over 11 years.
