Schnake Turnbo Frank, a strategic communications and consulting firm, has named David Wagner as region president and chief administration officer and Bill Handy as senior vice president.
Wagner, who was previously the Tulsa region president, is now responsible for the management of the performance of the company, developing the firm regionally and client outreach.
Handy, who started at the firm in 2012, will now manage the firm’s Tulsa account team and service a number of clients.

Schnake Turnbo Frank has also hired Kris Hooper as senior account executive.
Hooper will work primarily in the firm’s Tulsa office, but will support clients throughout the region. He brings more than 20 years of experience in visual, written and spoken communication encompassing public relations, public affairs, community outreach, event planning, traditional and social media, crisis communication, graphic design and marketing.
Hooper comes to with experience as a public affairs officer for the U.S. Navy Seventh Fleet, the public relations coordinator for Institute of Technology and graphic designer for Light Studio to name a few.
Trust Company of Oklahoma has named Michael Hopper assistant vice president of its corporate compliance department.
Hopper has nearly 10 years of insurance and investment experience. Prior to joining Trust Company of Oklahoma, he worked for Northwestern Mutual where he worked actively with financial representatives to ensure conformity with state insurance, FINRA and regulatory requirements.
A native of Tulsa, Hopper earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in economics from the University of Oklahoma and is currently pursuing the Certified Financial Planner designation. Additionally, he holds multiple FINRA registrations, including principal designations.

Maxwell earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2004 and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Salim earned her undergraduate degree in pre-medical requisites from St. Joseph’s College in Karachi, Pakistan, and her Bachelor of Medicine degree from Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan. She completed her internship and residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Mich., in 2006.

America, a television network broadcasting to nearly 22 million households and a division of Oral Roberts University, announces that Amy Calvert has been promoted to general manager. Calvert has been a part of the leadership of America since 2007, most recently as the vice president of marketing and sales.
Calvert, a native of Jenks, Okla., graduated from in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. She has worked in local and national broadcast for more than 20 years in various capacities at the Tulsa and affiliates and the TV Guide Channel. Calvert has been recognized for her excellence numerous times by the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters. She has also been instrumental in producing international health and ministry programming throughout her career.
Hall Estill announces Hugh Long has joined the firm’s Tulsa office as an associate. Long served as a summer associate at Hall Estill in 2012 and practices in the corporate services area of the firm.

The new salespeople, Eric Himes, Tony Garling and Jerry Scheliga, are former Motorola employees with more than 10 years in the Broadband Access Network division selling cable equipment.
Himes brings 33 years of experience in cable equipment sales, including 13 years working at Arris, formerly part of Google, which acquired Motorola.
Garling has over 17 years in sales and management of video and data products. Most recently, he was a senior sales specialist at Motorola,working with multiple large customers on solutions to enhance services.
Scheliga joins with over 15 years of experience in various engineering and sales management roles within Motorola, coordinating field service and applications engineering efforts as well as expanding the existing customer base.
