Cody W. Forehand has been named to take over the local Edward Jones office at 13330 S. Memorial Dr. in Bixby. Forehand transferred to Bixby from an Edward Jones office in St. Louis.

Effective Jan. 1, Hauptman assumed more responsibilities for several firm client accounts and projects, including the Tulsa Regional Chamber, Cancer Treatment Centers of America and Tulsa Historical Society.

The Tulsa Tech Board of Education, along with Superintendent and Dr. Steve Tiger, recently announced the additions of Dr. Scott Williams, Dr. Joyce McClellan and Russ Hester to the executive leadership team of the school district.
“The vast experience and leadership qualities of these additions to our staff will continue the growth and innovation within our school district, as well as serve our students, parents, faculty and staff very well,” Tiger says.

Dr. Scott Williams joins Tulsa Tech as the Associate Superintendent of Instruction and Student Services, and arrives from Riverland Community College after serving as dean of academic affairs and chief workforce officer. Previously, he was the director of workforce development for Indian Capital Technology Center in Muskogee. Dr. Williams received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from Oklahoma State University in 2008, while previously earning his Master of Business Administration and his Bachelor of Business Administration from Northeastern State University.

Dr. Joyce McClellan has been promoted to economic development officer and has been with Tulsa Tech since 2005. She previously served as Riverside campus director and an instructional dean. Prior to working at Tulsa Tech, Dr. McClellan worked in various career and economic development roles, including voluntary programs coordinator and minority/female business coordinator for the City of Tulsa. She received her Doctorate of Education from Oklahoma State University in 2006, Master of Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, and Bachelor of Business Administration from Lincoln University.

Russ Hester joins Tulsa Tech as chief operations officer from Francis Tuttle Technology Center in Oklahoma City, where he was the assistant superintendent of operations and instructional support since 2002. Previously, Hester was the national training director and distance learning program director at American Education Corporation in Oklahoma City. He earned his Master of Education degree from Jones International University in Denver, Colo., in 2005, and also a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from the University of Central Oklahoma. Hester was named to the prestigious Computerworld Premier 100 Leader’s Award in 2010.

Huntington Learning Center, one of the nation’s leading providers of tutoring services, welcoms Joe Nelson as center director at the Tulsa center, 7116 S. Mingo Rd. Nelson will join the Tulsa team in providing support to local families and students who rely on the Tulsa Huntington Learning Center for tutoring services.

A native of Oklahoma, Nelson spent several years in New York and California developing and delivering training programs. After returning to Tulsa, he served as faculty director and taught general education classes at a career and technical school. Nelson is a graduate of Oral Roberts University and has been teaching in the center since August.

The Schemmer Associates Inc. has added a professional surveying department to the Tulsa location, with the addition of Charles “Ted” Meislahn. Meislahn is a professional land surveyor with more than 12 years of practical land surveying experience. His specialties include the performance of preliminary surveys for state departments of transportation (s), construction staking for contractors, as well as numerous other types of surveying.

Littlefield Brand Development announces the hiring of Carolyn Siska as brand manager. Siska will serve as the head liaison and manager of several agency accounts.
