Steve Winegeart joined Hillcrest Medical Center as chief financial officer recently. He comes to Hillcrest from Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana where he served as chief financial officer.

After working in a certified public accounting firm in Louisiana, Winegeart became of a hospital in Lake Charles and has spent more than 20 years in the healthcare industry.

Matt Troup, FACHE, joined Hillcrest Medical Center as Chief Operating Officer (). He comes to Hillcrest from Texas Health Resources, where he has previously served as president of Presbyterian Hospital of Winnsboro and most recently as vice president of operations at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas.

While at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, an 893-bed facility, Troup had administrative and strategic oversight of cardiology, women’s services, behavioral health services, radiology, neuromuscular, post-acute care and laboratory services.
NORDAM has named Jeff Chalupa as general manager of domestic operations for the aerospace firm’s Transparency division.

In his new role, he oversees engineering, production, operations, supply chain and purchasing, maintenance, quality, and customer program management, with an emphasis on leading growth, development and technology enhancement.

Chalupa joined NORDAM in 2007 in a management capacity and has held positions of increasing leadership since that time, most recently serving as senior director of global engineering and quality for the company’s repair division, also in Tulsa.

Chalupa holds a master of science in engineering and technology management and a master of business administration, both from Oklahoma State University and a bachelor of science in manufacturing engineering technology from Northeastern State University.

Cypress Springs Alzheimer’s and Memory Support Residence, an innovative assisted-living community offering the Tulsa community a new perspective in specialized memory care, recently hired Ann Shields as executive director and Lisa Truett as director of sales and marketing.

As executive director, Shields oversees the day-to-day operations of the Cypress Springs community. Shields has spent more than 20 years in the industry and is certified as an Oklahoma residential care administrator.

Truett is responsible for directing the sales and marketing program and consulting with prospective residents and families.

Linda Logsdon of Von Bears Travel in Tulsa recently earned Certified Travel Associate () designation from the Travel Institute. designation is conferred upon travel professionals who achieve a rigorous certification program, demonstrate essential industry knowledge and experience, and maintain high standards of professionalism.

Logsdon has been a travel counselor for 17 years, sending more than 450 clients on a variety of worldwide vacation experiences.

Located in Tulsa since 1993, the agency was originally founded as Von Bears The Cruise Agency before Logsdon became the owner in 1995.

Saxum, an integrated communications firm offering public relations, marketing, and creative and social media services, recently announced the hiring of Ashley Fuller as account supervisor and Marisa Brown as designer in the firm’s Tulsa office.

In her new role, Fuller will be responsible for developing and managing strategic communications plans for Saxum clients. Her previous experience includes serving as development director of Monte Cassino School, where she managed the school’s renovation campaign and annual fundraising drives.

As a designer, Brown focuses on designing high-quality creative materials to support branding and promotional strategies for Saxum clients. She previously served as an intern in Saxum’s Tulsa office and as art department intern at Lincoln Christian School in Tulsa.

Saxum also recently announced the hiring of award-winning creative director Dan Martel as senior vice president and chief creative officer.

Martel brings experience and proven senior leadership to Saxum’s advertising group, which is one of the fastest-growing segments of the agency business. He will serve on the leadership team and will direct Saxum’s advertising department focusing on the explosive growth of its production and video teams. He will report to Saxum President Debbie Schramm.
