Officials from ahha Tulsa have announced Bracken Klar as the next director of programs and engagement. 
Klar will oversee the development of innovative programs and exhibits as well as managing community engagement and seeking new ways to engage the public. 
Klar comes to ahha from Tulsa Public Schools as Director of Community Engagement. He also has a diverse portfolio of more than 20 years of experience in libraries, and holds a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Studies. This background contributes greatly to his fluency across all forms of critical inquiry and research.  
Klar is Vice-President of Tri-City Collective and Co-Executive Producer of Focus: Black Oklahoma. With Tri-City Collective, Klar has worked with ahha, Gilcrease Museum, Philbrook, and the Woody Guthrie Center on programming, curation and outreach efforts. His work here earned first place in the Oklahoma Society for Professional Journalists in the “Radio: Special/Program/Interview/Talk Show” category.

“I am thrilled to be working for ahha and am excited about developing and implementing new programs and exhibits,” said Klar. “There is a lot of passion behind this professional move and the possibilities offered by my new position. I genuinely believe the creative opportunities offered by the arts and humanities  help build levels of awareness and empathy while instilling agency and an ability to both listen and communicate across differences– to translate experiences to physical mediums. The fact that I now get to work every day with a mission to make sure all in the Tulsa area have access to high quality and impactful arts and humanities experiences brings a ‘pinch-me’ feeling. I cannot wait to engage creatively across differences, to build innovative programs and opportunities that resonate with all Tulsans.” 
Bracken holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at Langston University and a Master’s Degree in library and Information Studies from University of Oklahoma. He currently volunteers for MapWorks Tulsa and Jewish Federation of Tulsa.  
  AVB Bank has announced the hiring of Destiny Campos. Campos serves as Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager at the Stone Wood Hills branch, located at 2201 North Elm Place in Broken Arrow.
With over four years of branch management expertise, Campos will provide branch operational oversite and management of retail staff. In addition, she will play an integral role in business development and community outreach.
“I am so excited and eager for this new journey with AVB. And, I am looking forward to building new relationships with all my co-workers and getting involved with this amazing community,” said Campos.
Senior Vice President and Retail Banking Director, Ben Dejene, stated, “We are very happy with the addition of Destiny to our Stone Wood Hills branch. Her enthusiasm is contagious…plus her extensive experience makes her an outstanding addition to the AVB team.”
Campos holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science and history from the University of Texas-Pan American.
Tulsa-based architecture firm SGA Design Group announces the addition of a new shareholder and principal, Jeff Dalton, AIA, NCARB.
Dalton has 15 years of experience in architecture and joined SGA Design Group in 2010. Over the years, his leadership and dedication to understanding SGA’s clients and their priorities has built trust and developed these clients into long-term relationships.
Dalton has worked with a wide variety of retail and warehouse clients on multi-site rollouts including Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc., Best Buy Co., Inc., Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, Casey’s General Stores, Inc., and for other corporations, including development companies.
Mercedes Millberry Fowler, board chair for the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, has announced Calvin A. Moore to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer for the Food Bank. Moore was previously the CEO for Meals on Wheels Metro Tulsa.
“This announcement has created excitement for all of us in the Food Bank community,” stated Millberry Fowler. “Some of Calvin’s vast experiences that will most benefit our network include his longstanding work here in Oklahoma, his approach to innovation, broad focus of team development, business acumen, and his understanding of food distribution and large volunteer networks.”  
Moore has worked in the field of organizational advancement and not-for-profit administration for more than twenty years and served as the President and CEO of Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa since 2014. Under his leadership, Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa has grown into one of the largest and most effective providers of essential services to seniors and homebound individuals in the state.
Moore has held a variety of leadership and advancement positions at Tulsa Community College, ORU, Boy Scouts of America, Youth At Heart, Restore Hope Ministries, and others. He serves on several advisory boards including the Tulsa World, Asbury Seminary-Tulsa, and the Tulsa Regional Chamber.
He is the recipient of 2021 Paragon Leadership Award, the 2020 Association of Fundraising Professionals Outstanding Fundraising Professional Award, the 2016 Spirit of Philanthropy Award, and he was recognized as One of Oklahoma’s Most Admired CEOs in 2019. 
Moore, a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and Army veteran, earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Southern Mississippi, a Master of Divinity degree, and a Master of Business Administration from Oral Roberts University
