Donna Wood, Ph.D., has been named associate vice president of academic affairs at Tulsa Community College. Wood holds a bachelor’s of science in education, a master’s degree in education, and an education doctoral degree from the University of Arkansas. She previously served at NorthWest Arkansas Community College as associate vice president for the global business development center and dean of business and computer information division.

Blake Loepp and Alli Yeager have been promoted to account coordinators at Schnake Turnbo Frank PR. Loepp graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations. Loepp served as an intern in PR’s Tulsa office from October 2008 to August 2009. Yeager graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a bachelor’s in journalism with an emphasis in public relations. She served as an intern in PR’s Oklahoma City office from September 2008 to August 2009.

First Fidelity Bank has named Ben Martinez its new vice president, assistant director of loan operations. Martinez brings more than 15 years of banking experience to his new position. As assistant director of loan operations, Martinez is responsible for development and management of central document preparation for commercial and retail loans. Martinez also works to improve efficiency within the bank’s overall loan document processing functions.

ONEOK, Inc. recently announced that Terri Pirtle has been named executive director of the ONEOK Foundation. In her new role, Pirtle will be responsible for coordinating activities related to the company’s charitable contributions and programs, including the ONEOK Foundation, corporate contributions and ONEOK’s volunteer program, Volunteers With Energy. Pirtle graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and earned a master’s degree in human resources and organizational development from Friends University in Wichita.
Arvest Bank announced that it has hired Tiffany Hatcher as vice president, private banking officer. In her new position, Hatcher will specialize in offering personalized banking and wealth management solutions to meet the needs of high net worth individuals and their families. Hatcher has 16 years of experience in the banking business during which she has cultivated in-depth knowledge of portfolio management and strategic business development.

The Board of Directors of the OK MOZART International Festival is announcing the appointment of Shane Jewell as its new executive director. Jewell is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in English with an emphasis in film studies. “As an Oklahoma native I am committed to expanding the arts in our state and am humbled to be allowed to do that with such a prestigious organization,” says Jewell.

Sean Weins has been named chief technology officer at Tulsa Community College. Weins holds a bachelor’s of science degree in organizational leadership from Southern Nazarene University and an associate of applied science in electronic systems technology from the Community College of the Air Force. Weins is a former Air Force communications officer and led critical IT projects supporting the Department of Defense, National Weather Service, and the United States Air Force’s Air Intelligence Agency.

Brett Campbell, Ph.D., has been named the associate vice president for operations and special initiatives at Tulsa Community College. Campbell holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma, a master of science and an education doctoral degree from Oklahoma State University. He has previously served as the associate vice president for student affairs at and the dean of student affairs at Rogers State University. He currently serves on the national board for the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators.

Chris Creider has been promoted to senior vice president, loan administration, of Summit Bank. Creider has worked for Summit Bank since it was chartered in January 2002 and has worked in the banking industry for a total of 30 years. Summit Bank is located in the Park Towers office building at 53rd and Yale. Summit provides a full array of services, including commercial and private banking, treasury services, mortgage loans, and trust and investment services.

River and Spirit Casino announces the hiring of a new staff member and the promotion of two internal staff members. Joseph Wolff has recently joined River Spirit Casino as a controller. Wolff has over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting.

The new public relations manager at River Spirit is Tiffany Ellis. Ellis previously held the position of marketing administrative assistant. Jim Christian has been promoted to director of financial planning and analysis.

Richard Cantrell, former risk manager with Exxon and native Tulsan Dave Morgan have joined Rich & Cartmill. Cantrell brings a lot of experience in risk financing from Exxon, Alexander & Alexander and Williams. Morgan also brings the experience of having worked with founding and current partners of Rich & Cartmill.
Arvest Asset Management announced that it has hired Tammy Blair to serve as vice president, investment client advisor. Blair will be responsible for assisting customers in the areas of retirement planning, business investment and risk management consulting, as well as providing individual investment and insurance advice.
