Hillcrest HealthCare System announced it has named a new Chief Financial Officer (). Donald Baker, of Hillcrest Medical Center began leading the strategic financial initiatives for the System on Tuesday, May 26th. Baker will not only serve as the System but will continue to be the of Hillcrest Medical Center as well, until a new for is appointed. Baker brings more than 10 years of executive level healthcare experience to his new position. Baker graduated from Langston University, University Center at Tulsa.
The Holmes Organisation, a Tulsa-based independent insurance agency, has named Scott Davenport as the firm?s subrogation manager. He brings more than a decade of claims and management experience to his role leading Holmes? new subrogation division. Davenport previously was a claims manager at Utility Claims Services in Jenks as well as an insurance and claims analyst at WilTel Communications and The Williams Companies in Tulsa.
The Flintco Companies, Inc., the largest Native American owned company, has named Lowell Heck as vice president of corporate operations and Jim Blose as vice president/area manager of Tulsa operations. In his new role, Heck will work on companywide operations initiatives, such as further development of Flintco?s Building Information Modeling () capabilities, refinement of Flintco?s proprietary operations software, methods of construction delivery and other key components of the company?s strategic plan. Blose will fulfill Heck?s previous role as vice president/area manager for the Tulsa operations.
Longtime Tulsa-area dentist and leading sedation specialist, Dr. Gene McCormick, has moved his practice to 2511 E. 21st St. near Utica Square. McCormick is Tulsa?s only licensed general anesthesia dentist who practices general and advanced restorative and prosthetic dentistry. He earned his anesthesia and sedation expertise through a medical anesthesiology residency program at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center.
Goodwill Industries of Tulsa announces newly elected Officers for their Board of Directors for 2009 ? 2010. The Chairman of the Board will be Ronny Altman of Altman Energy, Inc., the Vice Chairman will be Tammie Maloney of Burton Oil & Gas Properties and the Secretary and Treasurer will be Jerry Scherer of BlueCross & BlueShield of Oklahoma. The newly elected Directors to the Board are: Page Bachman the Corporate Vice President of St. John Health System and John R. Woodard, an Attorney from Feldman Franden Woodard & Farris. David E. Oliver was re-elected at President of Goodwill Industries of Tulsa.
Marquetta Finley is the director of Continuing Education for Academic, Family and Youth Enrichment at Tulsa Community College. Finley received her Bachelor?s and Master?s degrees from Northeastern State University. She serves on the board for the and serves in an advisory role for the Supporters of Families with Sickle Cell organization. Tulsa Community College Continuing Education made a name change to her department to focus more on family programming as well as academic and youth enrichment.
Chris Jacobi, President and of Jacobi Kelley Personnel announces that Todd Jones has been hired in a newly created recruiter position. Jones will staff temporary and direct placement positions in administrative and legal capacities. Other staff promotions include Liz Evans to Staffing Manager and Amy Beard to Lead Recruiter.
