Greater Tulsa Reporter Newspapers announced the hiring of Miranda Enzor as Assistant Editor. Since being accepted as an intern at GTR, Enzor has graduated from the University of Tulsa with degrees in Communication and English.

GTR also an-nounced the hiring of eLiz Hollis as Marketing and Sales Manager. Hollis served as Marketing and Special Events Director of Tulsa County for seven years and was involved in early Internet start-ups in the area. Other prior experience includes years in the fashion industry where she advanced to Innovative Sales Director.

Summit Bank hired Paige Miller as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Miller formerly served as EVP and CFO of Bank South for the past five years. Other prior experience includes two years with Bank of Oklahoma as a manager in the internal audit and process improvement areas and 12 years with Pricewaterhouse Coopers, where she advanced to senior manager and specialized in audits of financial institutions.

Jackie Cooper Nissan announced the promotion of Cindy Harris to Jackie Cooper Nissan service manager. Harris has 22 years of experience in the automotive industry. Her previous position was Jackie Cooper Nissan Parts Manager. Jackie Cooper Imports also announced Tracy Richardson joined the dealership’s preowned vehicle sales staff. Richardson has over 25 years of experience in automotive retail. He was previously employed by Thomas Cadillac.

Steve Harris, founder and owner of PMC Homes in Bixby, has been designated as a Life Director of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) at the Association’s spring Board of Directors Meeting in Washington, D.C. Harris has been an active member of the Home Builders Association of Greater Tulsa for 17 years, serving as president in 1999 and as director at the national and local levels.

The Rotary Club of Tulsa announced officers for 2007-08. RedFork Main Street hired Katy Davis as executive director. The hiring of Davis marks the next major step for the RedFork Main Street program, since being accepted as a Main Street community in March by the Oklahoma Main Street program. Davis brings a background in marketing, business and volunteer management to the position. In addition, she grew up near the RedFork area and is familiar with the community. Davis will work with the RedFork Main Street board and Oklahoma Main Street to revitalize the RedFork area in southwest Tulsa. The area defined as RedFork Main Street is four miles long and two blocks wide along Southwest Boulevard, the original Route 66 Highway, between the Arkansas River and South 33rd West Avenue.

Country Insurance & Financial Services named Jimmy Wall of Broken Arrow as an agent. As part of his training, Wall recently completed the organization’s New Agent School. Chinowth and Cohen Realtors announced the hiring of Cindy Manchester for the corporate staff position of sales trainer. Manchester brings over 20 years of business experience to Chinowth and Cohen Realtors. A member of the Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors, she holds her Broker’s license with the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission.

Summit Bank hired Wendy Newgent as assistant vice president in accounting. She previously worked for Bank South for one year and Bank of Oklahoma for six years, where she was AVP and accounting supervisor.

Swadener Investment Properties LLC recently expanded to create SGF Commercial Real Estate Services LLC, specializing in sales, acquisitions, management, leasing, tenant representation and construction management for buyers, sellers and owners of third-party properties in the Tulsa Metro area. Mark W. Swadener, chief executive manager of Swadener Investment Properties, will serve as a partner and chief executive officer of SGF Commercial with Dru B. Graham serving as chief operating officer and partner. Braxton Fears will serve as director of leasing and sales.

The State Election Board has appointed Patricia Brown Bryant to the remainder of a two year term as secretary of the Tulsa County Election Board. State Election Board Secretary Michael Clingman said Patty Bryant’s term began July 1, 2007. She succeeds former Election Board Secretary, Gene Pace.
