Carpenter Wins Teegins Award
TULSA’S OWN: Renowned sportscaster Bob Carpenter, left, was awarded the Bill Teegins Excellence in Sportscasting Award at the 2008 Warren Spahn Award Gala in January.
The Gala was held at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City. Carpenter is a 32 year veteran sportscaster. He has broadcast for the Washington Nationals and OU men’s and women’s basketball teams.
