Castle of Muskogee Offers New Fireworks

The Castle of Muskogee, Oklahoma’s 37,000-square-foot Fireworks Retail Showroom, has added 42 fireworks to its selection for 4th of July celebrations.

The castle’s showroom is air-conditioned, with accessible restrooms, plenty of paved parking, and knowledgeable and friendly salespeople to assist customers. The annual fireworks sale runs from June 15 – July 5, with special discount pricing found throughout the showroom.

The fireworks purchased at the Castle of Muskogee are fully inspected through the American Fireworks Standards Laboratory before they leave China to ensure buyer safety. All fireworks are inspected again by the Consumer Product Safety Commission once they reach the U.S.

Firework offerings include novelty fireworks for smaller children, more than 400 items for teens and adults, including the country’s largest selection of heavyweight and multi-action displays. Shoppers will also find specially-priced family packs and other hand-picked assortments offering the most cost-effective option.

While fireworks provide a beautiful sight when they are used properly, the Castle of Muskogee wishes to provide basic safety reminders and precautions so that the holiday remains safe for all.

From the Consumer Product Safety Commission and the National Council on Fireworks Safety:
Always read and follow label directions. Have an adult present. Buy from reliable sellers.

Always have water handy (a g arden hose and a bucket). Never experiment or make your own fireworks. Light only one firework at a time. Never re-light a “dud” firework (wait 15 minutes then soak it in water). Never give fireworks to small children. If necessary, store fireworks in a cool, dry place. Dispose of fireworks by soaking them in water before putting them in the trash. Never throw or point fireworks at other people. Never carry fireworks in your pocket. Never shoot fireworks in metal or glass containers. The shooter should always wear eye protection and never have any part of the body over the firework. Stay away from illegal explosives.
