Catwalk for a Cause to Raise Funds For Y-ME of Northeastern Oklahoma

For those looking for Los Angeles and New York fashions in Tulsa, KHITs and Isabella’s Design Originals will sponsor the Catwalk for a Cause benefit fashion show on September 30 at the historic Cain’s Ballroom.

2005 fall fashions will highlight the show and will be provided by Isabella’s with choreography by owner Kim Abdo. Models will be provided by Xclusive Model and Talent Agency and John Casablancas with hair and make-up by Identity Salon. Other sponsors include Peery Chiropractic and Reaction Fitness.

The show will be emceed by KJRH anchor Karen Larson. The doors will open at 7:00 p.m. with local entertainment and scrumptious snakcs and sweets donated from some of the finest restaurants in Tulsa.

The fashion begins at 8:00 p.m. with entertianment to follow provided by Supermodel.

The admission for Catwalk for a Cause is $25.

For the second year, Y-ME of Northeastern Oklahoma, a local breast cancer resource center for women and their families will be the beneficiary of the event. To ensure that no one faces breast cancer alone, Y-ME provides immediate, relevant, free-of-charge services, 24 hours each day to people who have been touched by breast cancer personally or have a loved one affected by the disease. Each dollar raised is used to help people who are dealing with breast cancer today and can’t wait for tomorrow’s cure.

The 2003 Catwalk for a Cure was held at the Suede Martini Bar and Lounge in the Brookside District and raised more than $2,000 for Y-ME.
