Celebrate Seven Summers of Fashion

Where could you possibly go that combines food, fashion and fun and will last for three days? You’ll see hot women in bikinis, the newest clothing collections from Europe and the UK, view the most up-to-date hairstyles and make-up applications, rock to the latest music, participate in various competitions for cool prizes, chow down on local restaurant specialties while sipping wine by 7 Deadly Zins and schmooze with local celebs? No, it’s not Fashion Week in NYC, Barcelona or even Paris. It’s THE fashion event of the summer right here in T-Town to celebrate “Isabella’s in Brookside bringing 7 years of Forward Fashion To The Fashion Forward.”
7 Deadly Zins, a company representing wineries, presents a “Sexy Summer in Style” kicking-off the first event on June 21 at the new “Suede” with a choreographed dance fashion show beginning at 8 p.m. For all three events the clothing collections will be provided by Vix and Sophia Swimwear, the Ben Sherman UK collection and the European collections of Agent Red International such as 10Feet, Muchacha, Parimita and Chili Pepper. John Casablancas Model and Talent Management will provide models. Justus and Co will do the model’s hair and make-up featuring the Glo Minerals collection will be provided by Woodhouse Day Spa.
Continue the festivities with a 7 Deadly Zins wine tasting at 7 p.m. on June 22, located in the Consortium and sponsored by The Garlic Rose and A-Bar. Listen to live music while being served wine and hor’doeuvres with models adorned in the featured collections. Win prizes from Brookside businesses.
Join Isabella’s for the main event on June 23 on 35th Street off Peoria from noon. to 11 p.m. for a “Back to the Beach Bash: 7 Summers of Sun and Fun in Style” sponsored by Isabella’s and “Up Late With Ben Sumner.”
The main feature will be a sand beach volleyball pit sponsored by Bru House complete with models playing volleyball in Vix and Sophia Swimwear to showcase the new swimwear boutique inside Isabella’s.
Following the tournament will be a swimwear competition to crown Brookside’s Bathing Beauty 2007. Strut your stuff on the runway as Sumner emcees the extravaganza. Judges will include Sumner and local celebrities. The contest is open to the public.
The event’s fashion shows will commence at 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
In between events, Sumner will provide music to keep the groove moving while Café Ole’, Garlic Rose, A-Bar and Bru House offer tasty treats and summertime specials.
Sharky’s will sponsor a competition to be announced that’s sure to be a blast. Woodhouse Day Spa will have experts on site to answer any questions about skincare and offer summer beauty tips.
There will be plenty of giveaways provided by all of these Brookside businesses as well as other surrounding establishments and other surprise events that will take place.
