In July, a new building was completed on Cherry Street near Trenton Avenue, which now houses three new restaurants.
Building owner Duane Phillips partnered with Valley National Bank for the $6.5 million project. The 22,000-square-foot building sits on 1.5 acres with a 150-space parking lot behind the building.
Phillips says his intention was to create a timeless building that blends into the look and feel of Cherry Street. Phillips’s is also responsible for the Cherry Street Ridge (Genghis Grill, Chipotle, Pinot’s Palette) and the conversion of the former Luby’s Cafeteria at 15th Street and Boston Avenue into the Tulsa Fertility Clinic.
The building house three first-floor tenants:
Roosevelt’s, a speak-easy-style restaurant/bar with over 70 craft beers on tap; Noodles & Company; and Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe – soon to open.
