Chimpanzees Celebrate a Birthday

We’ve all watched as Bernsen, one of the Tulsa Zoo’s youngest chimpanzees, has grown from an infant to a rambunctious toddler.
Recently, the Tulsa Zoo celebrated his fourth birthday recently where zoo friends stopped by wish happy birthday to Bernsen the chimpanzee.
The Chimpanzee Zookeeper gave an update on Bernsen’s development and talked about what to look for in the next exciting year. “He’s swinging around, wrestling with his big sister, and becoming more independent.”
There was fun for the other chimps too, as they busted into enrichment filled balls and other yummy birthday treats.
