Chipotle Launches New Kid-Friendly Menu in Tulsa
Chipotle Mexican Grill today announced it will roll out its new Kid’s Menu in Tulsa. As part of the launch, Chipotle will give kids a free Kid’s Meal on October 10, 17 and 24 when parents purchase a burrito, salad, burrito bowl (a burrito without the tortilla) or order of tacos.
“Like everything on our menu, the Kids’ menu items are made with great quality ingredients from more sustainable sources, including naturally raised meats, organic and local produce, and dairy that’s free of added hormones,” said Chipotle spokesman Chris Arnold. “It’s all part of a vision to make high-quality, great-tasting food affordable and accessible to customers of all ages.”
All of the items on the Kid’s Menu adhere to Chipotle’s commitment to using only the best-tasting ingredients from more sustainable sources that is the hallmark of Chipotle’s food. Chipotle developed the Kid’s Menu with pint-sized fans in mind, from the actual menu items to the portions and prices. The new Kid’s Menu features such child-friendly items as quesadillas, single tacos and a build-your-own taco kit, all priced under $5. Options include:
Small Cheese Quesadilla – a classic favorite with kids – is served with a side of rice, choice of beans, small bag of chips and a choice of organic plain milk, organic chocolate milk, apple juice or a soda.
Small Meat & Cheese Quesadilla – a small meat and cheese quesadilla served with a side of rice, small bag of chips and a choice of organic plain milk, organic chocolate milk, apple juice or a soda.
Single Taco – a single crispy or soft taco filled with three items from the line (one naturally raised meat or guacamole, and two other ingredients from the line, like salsa and cheese) served with a small bag of chips and a choice of organic plain milk, organic chocolate milk, apple juice or a soda.
Taco Kit (they build it) – With this unique twist, Chipotle is invites children to get creative with their food. Kids choose any three ingredients (one naturally raised meat or guacamole, and two other ingredients from the line, like salsa and cheese) and two crispy or two soft taco shells. From there, it’s up to kids to construct and enjoy their tacos. This option also comes with a small bag of chips and a choice of organic plain milk, organic chocolate milk, apple juice or a soda.
Steve Ells, founder, chairman and co-, started Chipotle with the idea that food served fast did not have to be a typical fast food experience. Today, Chipotle continues to offer a focused menu of burritos, tacos, burrito bowls (a burrito without the tortilla) and salads made from fresh, high-quality raw ingredients, prepared using classic cooking methods and served in a distinctive atmosphere. Through our vision of Food with Integrity, Chipotle is seeking better food not only from using fresh ingredients, but ingredients that are sustainably grown and naturally raised with respect for the animals, the land, and the farmers who produce the food. It’s an idea we call Food with Integrity. Chipotle opened its first restaurant in 1993 and currently operates more than 1,000 restaurants. For more information, visit Chipotle.com.
