Coach Bill Blankenship The Guest Speaker at Owasso Chamber Event

Coach Bill Blankenship, who led the Owasso Rams to the 2019 6A-1 State Football Championship, spoke at the Owasso Chamber of Commerce March 4th Luncheon.
Blankenship shared tales from his life that brought both humor and inspiration to the room. He expounded on his thoughts on leadership, that being a true leader is about not only achieving personal greatness, but taking others along with you and allowing them to help you on your path to success.
Blankenship also touched on becoming an expert in accepting helpful criticism. The accomplished coach provided several examples of good vs. bad criticism, and how to differentiate between the two,
Blankenship’s humor, faith, sincerity and passion were truly on full display, earning him a well-deserved lengthy round of applause.
