Congressman John Sullivan to Speak at Jenks Chamber Luncheon
Congressman John Sullivan will provide an overview of the legislative session to the Jenks Chamber of Commerce membership at the monthly scheduled luncheon at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at the Holiday Inn Express Ballroom, located at 150 Aquarium Drive.
Sullivan, who was elected to the United States House of Representative’s in 2002, has served as a member of the Republican study committee, House Energy and Commerce committee and is serving his second term as a member of the House Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Climate Change. As one of the only six Republicans – and the only Oklahoman – appointed to the panel, Congressman Sullivan is leading the fight to ensure that Oklahoma has a seat at the table as Congress debates a host of major climate changes issues that will directly impact the economy and jobs in our state.
