Connecting Online: Using Technology to Build the Region
By MIKE NEAL
President and CEO, Tulsa Metro Chamber

WEBSITE PROUD: The Tulsa Regional Chamber recently launched its revamped website with up-to-date news, social media feeds, blogs and a community section with member events, news and initiatives.
The digital age continues to make an impact on the everyday lives of us all, from small businesses to big corporations, from small children to grown adults.
From the tech-savvy to the tech-challenged, we’ve all incorporated digital communication into our lives on some level. For some, it’s simply a few friends on Facebook; while for others, it’s a large network of platforms.
For the Chamber, it’s of the utmost importance that we stay on point with our digital offerings to members and the community, gain awareness for our strategic initiatives, and increase the impact our organization has on the Tulsa region. The number one way we do that? Grow our member businesses. Support them. Provide needed services to them so they can become bigger and better.
We recently launched a revamped TulsaChamber.com, where you can find information on the Chamber’s programs and our member businesses. The new site is all about functionality and fresh information. Up-to-date news and real-time social media feeds keep you informed, while blogs offer first-hand input from our staff.
The Community section is home to events, news, initiatives and information provided by our members. Here, our members can submit their own events to our calendar or their announcements to our news section.
With this new site, the Chamber strived to provide its members a new service. We want to show them a return on their investment in us by promoting their items as much as possible. In turn, this engages the regional community more and keeps them informed on what our members do, are and offer. Free downloads allow information-seekers instant access to the Chamber’s publications at no cost.
It’s all about connecting. We’re here to build those connections, in person and online, to enhance the region. Those connections have a major impact on how we do business. Connections translate into a sales lead, new idea, new client and potentially so much more.
When you explore the new TulsaChamber.com, we hope you’ll find something that gets you excited about the Chamber’s mission and objectives. Connect with us online, on your mobile device or web browser, and see what’s happening in the Tulsa region.
As always, don’t hesitate to contact the Chamber staff for more information on how we can help you market, connect and enhance your engagement in the community via TulsaChamber.com or any other Chamber program. The more we connect and collaborate, the more the region and all of its wonderful communities will grow.
