Consumer Reports Recognizes Johnny Carino’s

Johnny Carino’s was recently recognized by Consumer Reports magazine as one of the best casual dining experiences in the nation. The Consumer Reports National Research Center conducted a survey between April 2004 and April of 2005 in which they asked 66,000 readers about 149,000 meals and 103 full-service restaurant chains. The results were featured in the July 2006 issue of the magazine.
Johnny Carino’s, an international chain of casual dining eateries, located in 28 states and five countries, was one of seven national restaurant chains noted as giving their customers the most value for their dollar.
Carino’s is an international franchise. Kampco Foods, based in Oklahoma City, owns and operates nine Johnny Carino’s restaurants; four in the Oklahoma City Metro, two in Tulsa, one in Wichita, Kan., one in Topeka, Kan., and one in Wichita Falls, Texas.
“We’ve been very fortunate to have experienced such success and growth since we opened our first restaurant in 2001,” said Randy Kamp, president of Kampco Foods. “Being recognized by Consumer Reports as one of the best casual dining restaurants in the nation based on price, portion, and atmosphere is certainly a great payoff for all of our hard work.”
