Members of the Tulsa City Council were cordial April 5 after a long and heated discussion concerning the annexation of the Tulsa State Fairgrounds property into the city limits of Tulsa.
The council voted 5-4 in favor of the annexation. From left are Councilors Jack Henderson, Rick Wescott, Chairman Roscoe Turner, Maria Barnes and Dennis Troyer. Henderson, Turner and Barnes voted for the annexation, while Wescott and Troyer were opposed.
