County Parks – The Place To Be This Spring
Tulsa County has some of the most beautifully maintained parks and golf courses in this part of Oklahoma. They are under the leadership of Parks Director Richard Bales.
Spring is the Parks Department’s busiest time of the year. Upcoming events include:
A St. Patrick Pot Luck lunch at the new LaFortune Community Center on March 14th, a fun run on April 4th and an Easter egg hunt on April 11th.
At the Bixby Community Center there is also an Easter egg hunt on April 4th and on April 18th there will be the Toy Train Operation Society train show.
At LaFortune Park there will be a spring break golf camp March 16 – 19.
The LaFortune Men’s Club will meet March 26th at 6:00 p.m.
Mens, womens, and senior leagues will be forming this spring. Information can be found at www.LaFortuneParkGolf.com.
A SLAM membership meeting will be March 7th at South Lakes at 10:30. More information can be found at www.SouthLakesGolf.com.
