Cowgirls Close Out Competition In Fayetteville
Fayetteville, Ark. – The Oklahoma State women’s track and field team closed out the competition at the Tyson Invitational on the second day of the meet in Fayetteville on Saturday.
The Cowgirls had another strong showing in the 3000 meter run with senior Natalia Kovtun finishing second with a time of 9:51.34. Kovtun was followed by newcomers Victoria Hanna finishing fourth with a time of 9:59.45 and Jacqueline Campos placing 11th with a time of 10:13.35.
Junior Clarissa Andrews had a season best 11.71 meters at the triple jump to close out the meet.
The Cowgirls will return to action when they travel to Norman, Okla., on February 20 to compete in the Oklahoma Open II.
