Cowgirls Finish First Day of Competition at Standford


PALO ALTO, Calif. – Oklahoma State’s Cowgirl track team completed the first day of competition at the Stanford Invitational on Friday.
Sophomore Kendra Woodson had the best showing out of the Cowgirls competing notching a seventh place finish in the women’s 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 10:47.46.
Freshmen Alyse Goldsmith and Jacqueline Campos finished the 5000 meter race finishing over 16 seconds apart from each other. Goldsmith placed 22nd with a time of 17:43.09 and Campos finished in 26th place with a time of 17:59.44.
Freshman Kate Kujawa beat her time from the Tulsa Duels in the 1500 meter run with a time of 4:46.32 placing 12th in the race.
