Creek Nation to Ring in $500,000 Vegas New Year
Tulsa will ring in 2007 with an unparalleled New Year’s celebration packed with festivities including live entertainment, party favors and hourly cash giveaways, including a special $100,000 grand prize drawing on Jan. 1 during the finale of the casino’s “$500K Free for All Giveaway” promotion.
Guests at the casino’s New Year’s Eve Vegas Carnaval on Sunday, Dec. 31 will be entertained throughout the evening with free live music. Taking the stage at 8:30 p.m. will be “The Return: The Beatles Tribute Band,” recognized as one of the premier Beatles tribute bands in America and considered by many critics to be the most realistic cast paying respect to the “Fab Four.”
At 10:45 p.m., guests will enjoy the music of Elton John with “Bennie & the Jets,” the world’s premiere Elton John Tribute Band led by Greg Ransom whose vocals, on-stage mannerisms and piano playing are strikingly similar to those of Elton John.
In addition to the live music on the stage, entertainment including showgirls, living statues and a variety of unique costumed performers will be found strolling the casino throughout the evening creating a true Carnival-style atmosphere.
All guests may receive one entry ticket for hourly cash drawings at the Guest Services booth starting at 6 p.m. Cash drawings will be for $1,000 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. and for $2,500 at 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. To ring in the New Year at midnight, one lucky person will win a trip for two to the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
The winning does not stop on New Year’s Eve. On Jan. 1, 785 qualified winners from the casino’s “$500K Free for All Giveaway” promotion will come back to the casino for a chance at the $100,000 grand prize. Hourly cash drawings for $1,000 will take place from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. All guests have one last chance to qualify for the $100,000 prize as an additional 25 patrons will qualify at 7 p.m. before the grand prize drawing. The Hilton Tulsa Southern Hills is offering a special package to casino guests including overnight accommodations, a bottle of sparkling wine, breakfast in the restaurant, $25 in casino cash and complimentary transportation to the casino. Package rates starting from $119 per night are valid Dec. 28, 2006 through January 2, 2007 by calling (918) 492-5000.
