Chris Hansen, owner of National Communications, is a direct Cricket wireless dealer who owns Cricket stores in Memphis, Tenn. He has also opened two locations in Tulsa in the past year. “I have stores at 69th and Lewis, and 51st and South Union,” says Hansen. When asked why he selected Tulsa as the location for his latest stores, he says, “Tulsa is a good market with lots of opportunity. The stores have done well and our market in the area has expanded.”

Hansen explains that due to the economy, more people are opting to go with the Cricket business model which is no contract, no credit check and a month-to-month billing cycle. Moreover, says Hansen, “Cricket offers unlimited everything, text messaging, Web usage, music downloads, and phone minutes. Our customers don’t have to worry about overage charges.”

Moreover, the Cricket feature Muve Music option included in the Smart phones monthly plan allows customers unlimited song downloads and ringtones. Another helpful feature is the Android powered Score that provides Google Voice Search and with street views.

The Cricket phone selection is varied and up-to-date, including Android powered Score that helps keep phone users connected to Facebook, and utilize Google Maps and other applications.

Hansen adds, “One of Cricket’s strengths is that it offers customers tremendous flexibility, freedom and value for the money. More and more people are avoiding contracts because they find the flexibility and freedom that Cricket offers appealing.”

Customer response to Cricket has been growing and the company is responding by expanding into new cities and markets. Hansen says it’s a time of optimal opportunity for growth and plans to focus on growing the markets he serves by offering as much value and quality for money as possible. “I’ll continue to offer deep discounts on accessories, accept trade-in phones, discount new handsets and keep my customers happy with excellent customer service.”
